Mark Watson is a children’s author with a difference. He concentrates on delivering a message for youngsters that is fun and appealing in a poetic style. He is passionate about his charity, Project le Monde which focuses on building schools in Uganda and in a lot of cases sponsoring primary school children through school and on to university. He feels that there is an overlap and apart from 10% of the profits going to the charity from the sale of the books it sends out a good feeling to youngsters. Education is so important and especially in Africa where there is an even greater need to further one’s career to survive in a challenging world.
Attended London book fair in March and showed my latest project Bill Bill about an African badger. He has environmental challenges, dental challenges and educational challenges.
End of month— head to Middle East & go to Dubai book fair.
